The Journal of Supply Chain Management Science (JSCMS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal with no article processing charges and no publishing fees. All papers are double-blind peer-reviewed.  JSMCS aims to publish high-quality papers on quantitative approaches to supply chain management.

Open Access Policy

JSCMS is an open access journal licensed under a CC-BY 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. This means that all content is available without paywalls.  Anyone is free to share (to copy, distribute, and transmit the work), to remix (to adapt the work) under the following conditions:

  • The original authors must be given credit.
  • For any reuse or distribution, it must be made clear to others what the license terms of this work are
  • Any of these conditions can be waived if the copyright holders give permission.
  • Nothing in this license impairs or restricts the author's moral rights.
  • Authors retain their copyrights.
  • if you are using published images, text or other materials, please be aware of copyright regulations - the TU Delft Copyright helpdesk can provide further information and answer your copyright questions.
  • In case of (alleged or proven) copyright breaches or scientific misconduct (e.g. fabricating data), The Evolving Scholar will follow the developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

Review policy

JSCMS operates under a double-blind model (both author and reviewer unknown to each other). Papers are sent to review if the Editor-in-Chief determines that the paper meets the appropriate quality and relevance requirements. A paper that is considered suitable is then typically sent to a minimum of two independent reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a paper. 

The standard period for reviewers for a single review round is 3 to 4 weeks to have a balance between high-quality thorough reviews and sufficiently fast publication.

Article Processing Charges

Publishing in JSCMS  is completely free, so neither Submission Charges nor Article Processing Charges are required from the authors. The resources needed to run the journal are covered by the institutions where the (associate) editors are employed, mostly in the form of time invested.

Plagiarism Policy

All papers are checked for plagiarism by the assigned editor and reviewers, and a software-based plagiarism check can be performed additionally. In case of suspected plagiarism, the authors will have 2 weeks to provide an explanation.

Reproducing a part of published content or images is allowed if the original source and authors are respectively referred to and are given proper credit.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Authors are allowed to deposit a Submitted version, an Accepted version (Author Accepted Manuscript) and a Published version (Version of record) of their work in an institutional or any other repository of their choice.

Metadata

JSCMS grants you the right to publish the metadata of the series, it's issues and articles under the terms of the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0).

Publication ethics

Editors, authors and the publisher adopt the guidelines developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
